Design is a dialectical practice

ATE ROTE is an awarded young design office founded in 2016 by  Roberto Rota.
In its work it explores the articulated landscape of Design, moving between many different areas and constitutive topos : beauty, form, function, symbol, technology, materials, human being,  ecosystem.
It works to achieve a dialogue and a synthesis between these elements, collaborating with design companies and galleries. It exhibits in international design events.
“I believe that Design should be a dialectical practice, a way to bring the multiple back to one, to put the richness of the surrounding world into the object and then offer it to the relationship with man.
I therefore think that practicing Design means mediating between man and the world: speaking to human astonishment for the cosmos, stimulating imagination and planning, arousing admiration and respect for the ecosystem, questioning the unfathomable mysteries of form present in the sense of beauty of each of us”
